Brand New is coming to So Cal....


New York based alternative rock band, Brand New will be embarking on a small US tour this summer.  The will be stopping in Southern California at the end of their tour for two shows.  The first show is in West Hollywood on Saturday, July 18 at the Troubadour.  The second show is in San Diego on Sunday, July 19th at the Epicentre.  Tickets for each show are $29 plus Ticketmaster fees and go on sale tomorrow (June 10) at 1 PM.  Tickets for the Hollywood show can be found here.  Tickets to the San Diego can be purchased here.  This will be Brand New's only Southern California performances for while, so these shows will most likely sell out.  For more info on Brand New click here.

New Music from Eyes Set To Kill....


Metalcore band, Eyes Set to Kill released their second full length album last Tuesday. The new record is entitled "The World Outside" and features 12 new tracks. Something to note about their new release is that one of the new songs (Deadly Weapons) has a guest appearance from Craig Mabbitt of Escape the Fate. "The World Outside" can be found in all major and independent music stores as well as via Itunes. Eyes Set to Kill is currently on tour with Sky Eats Airplane in support of their latest release. OctoberFlame Returns 2009


Last year Tiger put on a three day event southern California entitled "OctoberFlame", it occurred the last three days of October.  Tiger Army is returning to So Cal again this year for their second annual OctoberFlame.  The first show is on Friday October 23 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles with The CreepShow Opening.  The second show is on Friday October 30 at the Grove of Anaheim with an opening performance from 45 Grave.  The final performance is on October 31 at the Grove of Anaheim with the opening act still to be announced.   Tickets for all three shows are $25 each with additional service fees from Ticketmaster and Live Nation.  To get tickets to the first show click here.  Tickets for the second show can be found here.  Tickets for the third show can be purchased here.  For more information on Tiger Army click here.

New Taking Back Sunday...

Live Nation Makes Another Announcement...


Live Nation is the primary competitor against Ticketmaster in concert ticket sales. They are known for offering tickets with cheaper service fees than Ticketmaster. Today they made an announcement stating that beginning Wednesday, June 3, every Wednesday Live Nation will offer a certain amount of lawn tickets to some of this summers hottest concerts with no additional fees. Meaning that every Wednesday, fans can purchase tickets to some of their favorite bands for the exact price of the ticket with free shipping. Live Nation stated in their press release that they wanted concerts to be more affordable for fans who are having trouble financially in these harsh economic times. Bands such as Blink 182, The Killers, The Fray and many others have already agreed to participate in what is being called "No Service Fee Wednesdays." For more info, click here.
