The Florida based hardcore guys from A Day To Remember released their latest album last Tuesday. The album is entitled "Homesick" and was released through the popular post-hardcore label, Victory Records. Alternative Press expressed A Day To Remembers latest release as "The most anticipated record of 2009" and if you have ever heard them before, then you know exactly why everyone is so amped on getting some new tunes from them. As track one, "The Downfall of Us All", hits the first chorus, one can hear a resemblance to that of New Found Glory. This improved anthemic pop-punk feel that is heard on the new album is due to the fact that Chad Gilbert (Guitarist for New Found Glory) produced it. "Homesick" keeps true to the groups original sound but puts out a much more improved and produced version of it proving that teaming up with Gilbert was a very smart choice. It is hard to pick out key songs to hear for the single reason that the entire album is ear worthy. I highly recommend picking this one up as soon as possible. It is available at most Best Buy locations for $9.99 or for the same price via Itunes. A Day To Remember is also coming to the Glasshouse with The Devil Wears Prada on Friday, April 23rd.
