Heavy-Metal alumni, Metallica are being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this Saturday. They have asked their former bassist Jason Newsted to participate in the hall of fame ceremonial performance. Newsted joined the band in 1986 replacing their former bassist, Cliff Burton who passed away in a devastating tour bus accident. He was part of what is known as "the Black Album line up" referring to their highly successful 1996 self titled release that shot them from being another heavy-metal band to highly respected superstars.
