April 18th is Record Store Day, which is the one day throughout the year that independent record store owners and artists celebrate music. Record Store Day was conceived in 2007, Participating artists will do special performances or release limited edition vinyls and CD's. Participating record stores will offer promotion products limited to just this one day. One of the bands taking part in Record Store Day is Taking Back Sunday. To celebrate this day, they are going to release a limited edition 7" vinyl featuring the song "Carpathia" which is a new track from their forthcoming album "New Again" that will be in stores June 2nd. The B-side to the vinyl is a live version of another new song "Catholic Knees."
