In 1999, Jimmy Eat World released the album "Clarity", which to this day is still praised as their best release by many of their fans. This album was the first release from them to have their current vocalist Jim Adkins as the lead vocalist as opposed to their current guitarist, Tom Linton who had sang lead on all of their previous releases. "Clarity" featured 13 tracks of heartfelt vocals heavily drenched in the 90's Emo sound. It was one of those underated albums in the mainstream that has and will continue to stand the test of time in the indie/emo scene. "Clarity" is available at most music stores and Itunes, this album isn't one that needs to grow on you, it's one that hits your heart right at about the same time it hits your ears. Recently, Jimmy Eat World played ten shows in which they played "Clarity" in it's entirety in celebration of its ten year anniversary.
