Punk Goes Pop 2!

Every Year, Fearless Records releases a compilation CD of various well known acts in the Pop-Punk, Emo and Post-Hardcore scene. Each compilation has a theme that the featured bands follow, for example last year the compilation was called "Punk Goes Crunk" and every band on the album covered famous Hip-Hop songs. A few years ago, Fearless released "Punk Goes Pop" where all the bands covered famous pop songs. This years release is the long awaited sequel to that album, entitled "Punk Goes Pop: Volume 2" where a new batch of bands in the alternative scene cover many famous Pop songs. Some of the songs featured are The Fray's "Over My Head" covered by A Day To Remember, One Republic's "Apologize" covered by Silverstein and Britney Spears "Toxic" by A Static Lullaby. All of the covers on the album are done really well. It is fun to hear what each artists has done to these already well know songs to make them completely new and of the sound of their genre. "Pop Goes Punk Volume:2" is available in all major music stores now and is also on Itunes for around the very low price of $9.99.
